Another Great Couples Match
Today saw our first Couples Match of the 2013 season. We had a total of 26 eager fishermen and women, all of whom put in some great performances. Paul and Lindsey Bell topped the table with a catch of over 30lbs, the bulk of which was due to Lindsey's super catching! They were closely followed by a number of other couples including Alan Rushforth and Ann Wall, Adrian and Julie Dye, Richard and Ann Bell, Dale and Nicola Gill and Jeff and Di Murray. The ladies in particular seemed to make some great catches with some good sized carp coming out. Even Mark and Jo came out with a very respectable 5lbs 13oz which for their second time fishing wasn't bad! Thanks again for all those who took part and helped organise the match.
First Match of the Season!
Today saw the first fishing match of the season on Bridge Farm's Oakley Lake. We were delighted with the turn out of all our regular fishermen, and the morning got off to a cracking start with a warm bright sunny day. The wind hampered the catching a little later after lunchtime but there were still some excellent catches. Notable performances from Paul Bell, Richard Bell, Ian Garfitt, Richard Johnson and John Pratt and Martin Simpson was the star of the day with a bit of a monster catch of a perch! Thank you to everyone who took part. Best get some practice in for the next match (which is a Couples Match) scheduled for Saturday 18 May 2013.
Internet WIFI now live!

The WIFI is provided through Caravan Connect which is an efficient, affordable and straightforward service. Happy Surfing Everyone!
Park Back Open for 2013
Bridge Farm re-opened today for the 2013 season and we were delighted to see so many of the familiar faces back at the Park on the very first day. Even the dreary March weather didn't dampen our regular customers' enthusiasm to be back at the Park. It was a flurry of activity as so many customers were getting their caravans unpacked and everything sorted for the new season ahead. Fingers crossed Spring is just around the corner!
Thank You Paul & Carl Wilson!
We must send a big THANK YOU to our plumbing and gas engineers, Paul Wilson and his son, Carl Wilson who have both worked incredibly hard on Bridge Farm Caravan Park this week. Paul and Carl have been working out in the cold every day getting all the water pumps back on and the water supply to all the static caravan holiday homes reinstated. It's hard work, especially when it has been so cold and all their efforts have been greatly appreciated. Thank you!
