Date for the Diaries!

Date for the Diary Everyone! Our Family Fun afternoon is arranged for SATURDAY 25th AUGUST 2012. The bouncy castle is booked and there will be games and stalls including a raffle, tombola etc. We'll also be having a children's fishing match earlier in the day if there are enough under 16s wanting to fish. Bridge Farm's Olympic Dale!

At Bridge Farm Caravan Park, we have our very own Olympic Dale! One of our customer's children, Dale Stainrod was born on 20 December 2004 and has therefore been given the opportunity of being involved in the Olympic Torch celebrations, together with the opening ceremony of the Para-Olympic Games.

When the Olympic Torch Relay reached Sheffield on Monday 25th June 2012, Dale and the other seven 20.12 children took part in the celebrations standing up on the stage as the Torch came into the main arena. Check out some of Dale's photographs on our Facebook page.

Dale's parents, Diane and Daryl Stainrod and grandparents, Betty and Colin Freeman are incredibly proud. Sheffield was just a taster however as Dale will be going to London on 29 August 2012 to take part in the opening ceremony of the Para-Olympic Games. Good Luck Dale for this once in a lifetime opportunity!

First Couples Match!

We had our first Couples/Mixed Doubles Fishing Match today and it was a great success! The weather stayed fine and the lake fished well despite the strong winds. There were some excellent performances, especially from the ladies and children, many of whom were complete beginners! Well Done Everyone! More photos are in the photo gallery. Everyone enjoyed it so much we are hoping to squeeze in another match next month.

Lincolnshire Show

Having had a gloriously sunny Wednesday, the heavens have opened over Lincolnshire today. Whilst the weather may be miserable it hasn't dampened the spirits of everyone visiting the 128th Lincolnshire Show! The Show is well worth a visit whatever the weather with heaps of agricultural displays, shopping and stalls, craft tents, cooking demonstrations, flower shows and main ring entertainment. 2012 Season Starts Soon!

Bridge Farm Caravan Park re-opens for the new 2012 season on Friday 9 March 2012. Looking forward to seeing all our customers back on the Park very soon!
