Summer Holidays Are Coming!

Great to see so many customers at the Park enjoying the fabulous sunshine this weekend and gearing up to what will hopefully be a wonderful warm summer!  The summer holidays are not far away now so everyone is catching the holiday happiness!

Dates for the Diary over the summer are:-

Saturday 27 July 2013 - Couples Fishing Match

Saturday 24 August 2013 - Juniors Fishing Match & Family Fun Day

Sunday 25 August 2013 - Gala Open Fishing Match

Saturday 7 September 2013 - Open Sweepstake Fishing Match

Further details of all the fun planned for the Family day on Saturday 24 August 2013 will follow shortly but the Face Painter and Balloon Modeller have both been booked so we hope all the families on the Park will be able to come along!

Even for all the customers who do not fish, there is plenty of relaxing to be done out in the peace and quiet and enjoying a tasty BBQ in the evening sunshine!

Sunny Days!

We were treated to another absolutely fantastic sunny Bank Holiday weekend for the May Spring Bank Holiday.  On the Sunday, we held an Open Sweepstake Fishing Match and our first BBQ of the season.

Paul Bell very kindly organised the match, which was well attended by our regular fishermen and women, together with some less frequent fishers!  The weather conditions were fabulous and there were some great catches.  Some of the notable performances included Paul Bell, Martin Simpson, Dale Gill, Adam Fletcher and Ashley Moffatt.

The match was followed by our customer BBQ which was well attended by lots of customers from the Park together with their families and friends.  The sunshine was the icing on the cake making the day and the whole Bank Holiday weekend a great success!
