Great Bird Spot!

One of our sharp eyed customers spotted a Chiffchaff feeding in one of the trees in the middle of the Park today - great to see in the Autumn sunshine!  The Chiffchaff is a small olive-brown Warbler with a distinctive tail wagging movement.  Less bright that the Willow Warbler it is readily distinguished by it's song.  Check out the RSPA information on Chiffchaffs at http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/c/chiffchaff.

Get Fishing the Trader!

For all the fishermen, take a look in the Trader this weekend. Looks to have some great sized tench and pike in at the moment. The Environment Agency renewed the purpose built fishing platforms along the Trader directly alongside the Caravan Park so access is great.  Forecast for the weekend looks good so no excuses, spinners at the ready!
